Make the Biryani loved by the Nawabs of Awadh and  popularized as the Lucknowi-style Biryani. Prepared in a Dum Biryani style, this is an aromatic, rich & not-so-spicy biryani recipe. It is made using ghee, elaichi & a lot of other Whole Spices for that aromatic texture.

Ingredients

Pot 1

Prepping the Veggies
  1. Add all the Veggies in a large pot (or a pressure cooker)
  2. Add a pinch of salt & a couple of glasses of Water
  3. Cover & cook until soft, and then let it boil for 10 minutes
For Garnishing
  1. Add a Garnishing of Fresh Coriander Leaves
  2. Serve with Tandoori Roti or Garlic Naan 

Pot 2

Tempering the Masalas
  1. In a large pan, heat a cube of butter & 1tbsp oil
  2. Add chopped onions & sauté until translucent
  3. Now add tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste, & AR’s Kolhapuri Masala
  4. Add a pinch of salt & AR Masale’s Turmeric Powder. Roast 
  5. Now add all the veggies from Pot 1 & a cup of Water
  6. Cover & Simmer for 15 minutes
